David Parkhill graduated from UNB in 1983 with a B.Sc. Engineering
(Surveying). He is a member of the Association of Professional
Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick, the Association of
New Brunswick Land Surveyors and the Association of Canadian Land
Surveyors. Parkhill served on the ANBLS Executive Council and GPS
Task Force. He has co-authored "Development of a GPS Active
Control Point Station" Quek, Creamer, et al., originally published
in the Journal of Surveying Engineering, Vol. 115, No. 1, Feb. 1989.
Parkhill's professional career began as a Survey Engineer in
Alberta, and includes experience in hydrographic surveys;
construction pipeline and well site surveys; navigation surveys;
and surveys for seismic survey activity. He has been with Hughes
Surveys since 1986, starting as a Project Surveyor.
